Whats new...

I am growing so fast and learning something new almost every day so I thought it might be time for an update. I am 31 inches tall and I can stand straight really good now so Mommy marked it on the wall. I still love to dance. I like to run and my new thing is running in place. I am really excited about talking....I can say mama, dada, banana, duck, moo, quack quack, nono, phew wee, bath, night night, dog, woof, and a few others. not everyone can understand my phonics but Mommy and Daddy always understand.
I can climb just about anything. I decided to take a bath with mommy yesterday so I climbed in with all my clothes on. I can reach every surface in the house so watch out! Dont leave anything out...I will find it and do what I want with it.
Outside is my absolute favorite place. I love wagon rides, chasing the dogs, finding strange objects in the yard and digging in every kind of dirt. Oh and I found a small pond in the back yard, very fun!
I am getting really good at understanding what people are saying. mommy tells me to do a lot and I obey if I agree with the order. Yesterday I went all the way back to my room to get my milk when Mommy told me to go find it.
Got to go make another mess....

What have I been doing in my 13th month? Well....Mommy locked the toilet so I got the toilet brush instead...
I kissed a boy while he wasnt looking.

Went to the duck pond with my best friends.

and I helped daddy with this really heavy load of rocks.

It was a good month. On to #14!! It sure seems like a good month for a play mate....

What a party!!! I loved my birthday. I tolerated my outfit. I got some really cool new toys. I ate some terrific cake and I got to play with all my friends and family. It was the perfect day! Thanks everyone for making my big day so special!

My first Christmas! What a blast...and I got to celebrate 4 times! Here I am with Grandma and Grandpa. They got me an awesome red wagon!

Here at aunt Katies something crazy is always bound to happen! This time it just happen to be riding a dog.

Here I am with Papa Ford holding my sweet new baby doll and I love my new rocking chair to rock her in!

They tell me this is Santa. Mom said she wasnt going to get into santa but he was at McDonalds so what the heck! I never really would have believed it anyways but its fun to pretend.

Opening more presents at Gigi and Papa's house. They got me a shiny new red kitchen! I love to take all the food out and spread it all over the house every day. What a great time with family! Looking forward to next year. Happy Birthday Jesus!

Well its been a rough week or so, I got a UTI and it made me so sick! I have never felt so bad. I spent most hours of the day and night sleeping on Mommy and Daddy. Now that I am better they are trying to break this new habit. Today I am feeling really good, almost normal again. Im so happy because I have lots to do, its almost my birthday!!!

This is my new piano. It was an early Christmas present from Uncle Paul and Aunt Karen. I absolutely love it! I like to get a song started and then get up and dance! You should see some of my moves.

I am learning to eat. Most babies I see do it all the time in their highchairs or strollers but I am very hesitant, except when it comes to non-edible items. Snails, rocks, dirt, dryer lint, leaves, flowers and even dog poop seem good to put in the mouth. I just cant understand why Mommy wants me to eat apples and crackers though. That is just simply boring. I would rather hunt for my food. The discovery is so exciting and its pretty funny when Mommy realizes what I have eaten and then I bite her when she tries to get whatever the days find is in my mouth. I guess I might have to settle for an apple pretty soon, I have heard them talking about taking my bottle away....

Me and Mommy and Daddy went to Possum Kingdom for a few days of relaxation. It turned out to be really cold and windy and we all got a terrible stomach virus. Mommy says we need to take another vacation already!

I went to Odessa and Grandpa took me to feed the ducks. The ducks there are a lot different than the ones in Fort Worth. Much more aggressive! I think they might have been pigeons pretending to be ducks just to get my bread.

Aunt Cynthia came to visit me! She is really cool. I think I will call her Tia.
We went to the duck pond, zoo, park, Dallas, and a random place to take pictures. It was a fun packed weekend with lots of good memories!
We checked out lots of new things together everywhere we went. I didnt have to ride in my stroller that much because Tia held me a lot. I think mommy has weak arms :)

Weekend Fun

I sure had a fun weekend! We went to the duck pond and fed the ducks. Turns out they look nothing like my rubber ducks inthe tub but they are still very cool. I felt like I needed to pick up the bread and crackers when daddy threw it on the ground....no littering dad! There were geese there too. A little scary actually. One bit mommy.
I also found a stick that was very interesting. I played with it for a long time and tasted it too. Then I dug in the dirt a little.
At home I played with my new walking toy over and over and over. I am getting really good. I even did a few steps on my own. I do have a few scrapes and bruises but it was worth it.
After church we went to the mall and played on the playground. The other mommies were looking at us like I was too little to be there but I showed them! I crawled everywhere and had a blast. Tunnels are turning out to be one of my favorite places to play!

Cat Tales

Wow what a night. I woke up at 4am to find Stanley the cat in my crib!! I love the cats so I thought it was great. I had a long converstation with Stanley until mommy finally came to see what was going on. She thought I was dreaming or something. Anyways since I was having so much fun I wouldnt go back to sleep for another hour!! Poor mom and dad kept coming and rocking me one after another but I was just too excited and there was one other small thing bothering me. However, it wasnt until morning that mommy realized I had a toy stuck inside my pajamas. HELLOOO!!

I had a fabulous Labor Day weekend at Possum Kingdom with all my daddy's family. Its always fun to see my favorite cousin Aubree. Aunt Shaylee and Uncle Justin are pretty cool too.
Daddy surprised mommy with a new camera for her birthday so this is one of the first shots....great color!

Today mom made an adventure park in the back yard for me and the puppies. First we experienced the weird feeling and taste of jello!

Next I got hosed off. Since I really hadnt seen a hose before I had to check it out. Great place to get a cool drink in the back yard!

Finally I got in the baby water park. I enjoyed splashing and trying to catch water in my mouth. What a fun day....led to a very long nap!

I love taking a bath! Its really fun when I go to grandmas or gigis because they have giant bath tubs with more bubble for me to eat. I recently learned to splash and I am currently trying to figure out how I can crawl in the water. I would really like to make my way over to the drain pull so I can chew on it!

This was my first year to attend Rock the Desert in Odessa out of mommy's belly. It was a little hot and loud for me but I still had a good time. Last year the sound was muffled and I didnt have to worry much about where I would sleep.

This time there was a lot of grass for me to pull and eat and lots of people to hold me so I was well entertained. Next year Im going to the front of the stage with mom and aunt Cynthia!

Sleep, how most of my time is spent. I try to be really good for mommy and daddy so they can get their rest. They wrap me up so tight I really dont have much choice. Im getting stronger though and I have a plan to escape. Not sure how I will get over the bars yet, maybe the cat will help.

Daisy

Mom and I were hanging out in the front yard under the tree checking out the leaves and listening to the birds. This is one of my favorite things to do when I am grouchy.

Anyways, I hadnt held a flower before so mom picked a daisy for me. This picture captures the short sweet second that I was discovering what a daisy looks and feels like....then I ate it.

This is me! I think I look like both my mom and dad. I definately have mommy's eyes and daddy's eyelashes. I have just about every color of hair on my head so who knows how that will turn out, Im just glad to have some! Im really tall, off the chart according to my doctor.
Mommy loves to take my picture so I will be sure to post them often.
